Crate Away started with Bo, my English Bulldog. Traveling with him made one thing clear: dog crates were bulky, outdated, and not built for real life. I knew there had to be a better way.

I went all in. I sold my car to fund the very first prototype; betting everything on a vision that didn’t yet exist.

What followed was five relentless years of building from the ground up. Countless prototypes. Engineering challenges. Material failures. Redesigns. Delays. The kind of setbacks that test whether you keep going or walk away.

Building a brand-new product is grueling. It’s messy, unpredictable, and full of highs and lows. But every challenge has made Crate Away stronger, smarter, and more intentional.

What started with Bo… is finally becoming reality.
